Abstract

The proponents develop an Online Billing and Reservation System for Rockpoint-Hotel and Spa that is located at Pansol, Laguna. The hotel has exactly 29 different size and type of rooms. For private rooms, they have the Executive Rooms, Premiere Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Standard Rooms. For maximized rooms, they have the Deluxe Dormitory Rooms, Family Rooms and Regular Dormitory Rooms. The hotel also has 8 function rooms which also have different types for different gatherings and events like business meeting, get-togethers, weekend getaway, seminar, debut, wedding, party and retreat. The hotel’s amenities are Hot Spring Swimming Pool, Kalipayan Spa, Karaoke Lounge, Videoke Rooms, Billiard Hall and Gym/Work- Out Room and the others are Lava Grill and Restaurant, Meditation Garden, Kiddie Play Area, Wi-Fi/Internet Access and Chapel. Clients who check in at the hotel have different privileges to use the amenities and receive different inclusions. Through the development of information technology, Ms. Lala Almieda, the owner of the hotel plan to advance the technology of their existing website by developing it more interactive and useful for reports and data management. The proponents designed the system based on the needs and specifications of the hotel. The proponents conclude that the hotel’s major problems are time consuming and hassle process in their data management and bill computations. So the proposed system, provides a database and a display for a detailed information, reports and future references.
