Abstract

The research questions of the proponents include who are the users of the system? Why do the students need an Online CAI for a particular subject? What is the significance of the system to its users? How does the system help its users? How will the proponents make the system and what are the tools that will be using to develop the system? These questions are important and were asked by the proponents to themselves so that they would know that the research that will be conducting is valid. For them to be able to answer the question, first they looked for a subject where they can apply the Online CAI. One of the professors of Biology Department recommended the Vertebrate Histology. Second, they conduct an interview with the professors who teach the subject. They also observed and asked the opinions of the students who are taking the said subject by conducting an interview. The proponents found out that what they had researched is valid for capstone. The students of Vertebrate Histology really need and want to have an Online Computer Aided Instruction for the said subject. Most of the students nowadays, regardless the age, course and gender spends their vacant time on internet surfing. CAI is helpful because they could read their lectures online and take quizzes online. The proponents learned that because of the rapid growth of the technology, you can access your lecture in just few clicks. Paperless and hassle-free, the students may review their notes online. With the online CAI, everyone can learn anytime, anywhere. One can just sit back and relax and yet they are still learning.
