New Filipino Maritime Agencies, Inc. (Newfil) uses manual system in the field of recruitment. This kind of operation indicates and identified several types of problems. Some of those are large volume of documents or information of the certain applicant which would require more storage space and there will be tendency of misplaced documents. Since the agency only operates for six (6) days a week (8:00am – 5:00pm for Monday to Friday, and 8:00am – 12:00pm for Saturday), there will only be a limited time for applicant/s to pass their resumes, and for the employer to scan hundreds resumes. It will be time consuming in the part of the employer and the applicant in the field of applying and recruiting, because the applicant/s will submit their resume and requirements personally or through e-mail, and then the employer will have to look at the applications one by one and see if the applicants are qualified for the job, and then sort them out according to jobs’ qualification. There is no system for monitoring, and there is limited access of information that are most important not only for the employer but also for the applicants since they do not have an online system to present that will give easy access to the information needed for applicants’ and employers view even they were at home, or anywhere that has an internet access. And so the proponents had come up with the solutions to solve the problems efficiently and effectively for company by making a web base system not only as a remedy to the problem but it can be a form of promotion or advertisement to the public. The proposed web base system for New Filipino Maritime Agencies, Inc. (Newfil) serves as a record of database of information that is capable on transferring data between client and applicant. This study was designed to create a way that made the job easier, reliable, quicker, and more precise. The system also provides security access level for accessing the information of the applicants confidentiality from unauthorized users.
