Abstract

This study aimed to know the potentiality and the accuracy of Meng Nan Bien Wan potency solution in the development and increase of the production of sperm, sperm motility and sperm morphology and the increased in the body weights of male albino rats with regards to the different dosages applied. Twelve sexually mature albino rats were used in this study. After one month of acclimatization, the rats were then randomly divided into four groups (control, 0.5 ml dose, 1.0 ml dose, and 2.0 ml dose of Meng Nan Bien Wan potency solution) with three rats per group. The result of the study showed the effectivity of the Meng Nan Bien Wan potency solution on the male albino rats but it was not recommended for use due to the increase of the abnormalities of the sperm when the dosages were increased.
