Depressed, timid and trustful are the three highest emotional functions experienced by the respondents which are equal to sadness, fear and acceptance in subjective language. 3. Emotional functions motivated the respondents to commit a crime. RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Children in conflict with the law must work to control their feelings and appreciate the help of the social workers who worked for their betterment, especially those who resides inside the institution. 2. The Family of Children in Conflict with the Law must give their full support and attention, for the betterment of their children who got involved in an illegal act. They should not give up; instead they should be the source of hope for their children. 3. The Institution must promote a program that can help the children in conflict with the law to control their emotions by giving coping techniques and strategies. 4. The House-parents and social workers should also continue providing support, strength, attention and hope to the children in conflict with the law by giving emotional support. 5. The Future Researchers are recommended to include other factors such as personality and social life in their future research that would involve children in conflict with the law.
