Abstract
Data had been gathered through the use of research instrument (Memory Retention Test, adapted from Jajamundi and Raynes, 1983) twelve in each group (75%) out of the total participants (32) were the focus of the study. Scores had been analyzed using t-test of difference. This study made use of a two-group (t-test) design, data collected were tallied, tabulated and treated to determine the significant difference between the two group. The pre-test means of the two groups showed that both groups were initially the same with regard to the level of performance. There was a significant increase in post-test means of the experimental group, which means that the method of loci enhance memory skill of this group of respondents. On the other hand, no significant change was noted in the scores of the control group. The first hypothesis was therefore
