Abstract

The study was conducted to assess the Pseudomonas spp. and its correlation to the physico-chemical properties of soils in Multiple Use Zone of Mt. Pico De Loro in Ternate, Cavite. The physical and chemical analysis of the soil was assessed through identifying the soil temperature, soil color, soil texture, soil pH, and the nitrogen and phosphorous content. The plating methods that were used to isolate Pseudomonas spp. in this experiment are Spread Plate Method and Streak Plate Method. Biochemical analysis was done to identify the species of Pseudomonas. Through this procedure, it was identified that there are (12) species namely: P.caryophylii, P.mallei, P. putida, P. picketti, P. cepacia, P. aeruginosa, P. diminuta, P. pseudomallei, P. chlororaphis, P. fluorescence, P. pseudoalcaligenes, and P.medocine.
