Abstract

Computer Aided Instructions is now a trend in online learning. Many students or individuals want to learn in the comfort of their houses using CAI as a learning tool. It includes the use of computers to teach academic skills and to promote communication and language development skills. It also includes computer modelling and computer tutors. Computer Aided Instructions in Discrete Mathematics is designed for Computer Science Students of DLSU-D for them to have an extra or alternative way of learning Discrete Mathematics. It offers different methods of learning and delivering lessons to students by reading, listening, and through video presentations. It also has quizzes and games that is related to every lessons for the students to test the level of their understanding. The proponents used Active Server Pages or ASP.Net in developing the system because ASP.Net is perfect for developing websites. For the database of the system, the proponents used Structured Query Language or SQL server as required by the webhosting site Arvixe.com.
