Abstract
To lessen the burden of pet owners as well as livestock owners from waste odor of animals, seven different pairs of rabbit were tested. One of each pair of rabbits was fed with a normal diet and the other had a diet treated with 3% zeolite. In this study, 5 days constituted a week. On the fifth day of the week, feces of both rabbits were placed in a vial separately. Feces in vials were stored for 48 hours. Fifty respondents were asked weekly to determine if there was lesser odor on the object of study. Findings of the study revealed that the presence of zeolite in the diet of rabbits had an odor reduction effect on their feces.
