Abstract
The study determines the effect of different botanical extracts in the mortality of corn weevil. The study used different botanical extracts such as Marigold, Sunflower, Chili pepper and Neemseed to be extracted against Corn Weevil. Extracting the juice from plants and diluting them with water made extracts. A total of 118 petri dishes were used. These were divided into five treatments. Each treatment was further divided into three sub treatments with 25%, 50% and 75% of botanical extracts, respectively. Each sub treatment was replicated three times. Findings revealed that botanical extracts of Marigold, Neemseed and Chili pepper showed to be the most effective against the mortality of Corn Weevil than Sunflower extract. It covered a very short time with undetermined difference between each treatment.
