Abstract
Bryophytes are capable of living in any kind of environment, whether it is in dry environment, in tropical environment, or in a temperate environment. This study focused on the collection of bryophytes in Pico de Loro Nasugbu, Batangas and assessing its significant presence in the area. Collections of specimen were done twice, during wet season and during dry season with specified elevation of 500 - 700 m above sea level with a transect line of 200 m. The study identified 14 genera and a total of 40 species of Bryophytes in the area of study. Genus Fissidens has the richest species and the place was assessed being in stressed condition due to man-made factors.
