Abstract

Payroll system is used to speed up the process of calculating pay, ensuring that payments are both accurate and on time. This study concentrated on the development of the payroll system of Rogationist College. The technique used in developing the study is Modified Waterfall Method. The system was based on the company's existing needs. The system was network-based, and used finger scanning attendance with the use of biometrics technology, and incuded the checking abnd maintaining employees' information. Based on this, the system could accurately compute the employees' salaries. The proponents have made the basic and usual features in payroll systems so that it would be user-friendly. After the system had been implemented, it was proven to be effective in updating and generating pay slips. The developed system came about as an answer to the client's requests of updated and more efficient ways in the payroll.
