Abstract

LEVEL OF TRASH TALKING AND AGGRESSION AMONG REAL TIME STRATEGY GAMERS The major focus of this study is to investigate the Level of Trash talking and Level of Aggression of Student Real Time Strategy Gamers in DLSU-D AY 2013-2014. Seventy (70) students were included in this study through purposive sampling technique. The major instrument used in the assessment of the level of Trash talking of the respondents was the research made questionnaire and for the level of Aggression was the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire. The profile variables of the respondents were also investigated to find out if their level of Trash talking and level of Aggression would be influenced by such factors. SPSS computer software was utilized in the calculation of the research data, the result found out that there was no significant relationship between the level of Trash talking and the profile of the respondents. There was no significant relationship between the level of Aggression and the profile of the respondents. Lastly, the results of the Pearson product moment correlation (Pearson r) showed there is a significant relationship between the level of Trash talking and level of Aggression of the respondents in this study.
