Abstract

To introduce a group dynamics program and determine its effectiveness in reducing depression, enhancing self concept, and improving the peer relations of college freshmen and to know if depression leads to low self-concept and poor peer relations. To help the students acquire a better understanding of themselves; 2) to help the students recognize and accept themselves and others; and 3) to stress the importance of expressing feelings.
