Abstract

This research intended to analyze and explain the behavior patterns, attitudes and relationships of lesbians. The factors that contribute to the development of lesbian tendencies are excessive exposure to lesbian relatives, influence of lesbian peers and strong attachment to the father figure. Generally, lesbians are antagonistic towards males. Most of them are close to their parents and never experienced love relationship with men. As to the perception of the community towards lesbianism, they considered lesbians as sinners and lesbianism as immoral. Contrary to this, the participants felt there is no difference from ordinary relationships and as long as they are happy and satisfied with their present conditions they are normal and not sinners.
