Abstract

Every company needs to improve their work system to cope with the continuous changes in the modern world. They need upgrades and updates on their systems to equally compete with the growing numbers of competitors in their selected industry. The purpose of the study is to provide a network-based payroll system for Millepher Corporation with the addition of the biometric technology. By upgrading their manual payroll system to a much more manageable computerized one, they can enhance their productivity and eliminate man-made errors that they encounter. The newly enhance system will accumulate a real-time clock that will track every logs of a specific employee, compute correct salary grades, generate reports and lastly an accessible interface wherein anyone can manifest and use. The biometric incorporated in the computerized system will be a finger print scanner that will keep all the data of each employee in the corporation. Fair business competition can be backbreaking, but by harvesting the abilities of the technological advancements it can be truly said that one can acquire the upper hand.
