Abstract
The proponents have designed network-based payroll system for PHPC Corporation Limited, Incorporated with biometric technology which creates an easier way for the HR department to summarize attendance, Finance department to compute payroll and the company to handle reports. The proposed system eases work to save time which makes it convenient. Each department has its own function. The HR department can add employees and edit them. The Finance Department is the one responsible in the computations and deductions of payroll take place. The employee can login and logout through fingerprint scanner. The proposed system stores all data, accounts, information and computations done on the database provided. The proposed system has integrated security features which are installed on the system to ensure data integrity and full protection. The proposed system provides easy maintenance such as adding, modifying, and deletion. The proposed system generates and prints reports like SSS reports, PhilHealth reports and Tax Contribution reports semi-monthly, monthly, and annually.
