Abstract

The development Network-based Payroll System for Sung Hyung Precision with Biometrics will provide a capable payroll system that can store and retrieve data. The system is incorporated with security maintenance so limited people can access the system. It has also a biometrics technology for login and logout of the employee’s salary. It also includes the maintenance modules such as employee maintenance, leave maintenance, and salary maintenance, salary grade maintenance. The developed system also includes generation of reports like pay slip, payroll summary, leave, remittances, attendance and other reports that the existing system could not accomplish. Files are secured with the use of password, and only authorized personnel can be able to access it. The system is network-based. It allows sharing of information among different users of the system via the computer system. The proponents made sure that the developed system can replace the existing system that manually computes the salary of the employees.
