Tutorial is defined as a class conducted by a tutor for one student or a small number of students. It helps people learn new skills by using a step-by-step process that ensures the user is following along and comprehending the material. Computer Aided Instruction is an interactive software program created as a learning tool. It is an online tutorial that is interactive and can discuss a certain subject or topic through attractive animations, sound effects, and flash demonstrations. Visual Basic Express (VBE) is an evolution of the Visual Basic language that is engineered for productively building type-safe and object-oriented applications. It provides easy to use and user friendly Integrated Development Environment (IDE) not just for professionals but also for students. Visual Basic Express Computer Aided Instruction is designed to facilitate learning on VBE Subject in secondary level by presenting lessons based on their current textbook and gauge the students’ understanding by giving exam/drills. VBECAI is carefully studied and analysed by the researchers to solve the problems faced by the teacher and students inside the classroom. The proponents gathered important De La Salle University-Dasmariñas information about online tutorials, its nature, and its advantages and disadvantages. Based on the information gathered, the proponents designed a system that is specialized for the particular needs of the chosen user which is the fourth year students and teacher of Theresian School of Cavite. The system is called VBECAI which stands for Visual Basic Express Computer Aided Instruction; basically it is a tutorial that is based online; meaning, a user should have a computer and an internet connection to access the program. It presents lessons in two different ways: by reading a text while listening to the audio book and watching a video. It has games and program simulations. It records the scores of students in the provided quizzes and it has downloadable lessons for offline studies. According to the end-users VBECAI is a big help for them to fully understand lessons in an interesting way, they say that with CAI learning is always fun and never boring.
