Abstract

Many institutions have been left from the vast technology which caused them to give insufficient learning experiences to their students. In their computer subject, teacher still do the manual process of teaching, were they physically teach students at the same time. In case there will be hands-on activities, the teacher orally instruct the students on how an activity will be done. Therefore, there will be an instance that not all students may understand the whole lesson taught by the teacher. Teachers also manually compute and compile the score of their students. With this kind of situation, the proponents proposed a Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) system to provide a faster and easier learning through the use of computers. It will be a sufficient way to introduce a new learning experience in a modernized and efficient manner. The system gives students the freedom of time to understand each lesson well. Other than texts and graphics type of tutorial, the system also offers other types either a game or a video type for a specific lesson so that the student can choose which method he is comfortable. It also provides exercises and quizzes at the end of each lesson to ensure students’ comprehension and progress. Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) system is developed with interactive lessons and activities that will help students to gain knowledge and skills. The system ensures a more interesting type of learning that will motivate the students to learn, to be more responsive, and to be trained in self-studying technique. The system will be an effective mean in providing better communication and individual learning.
