Abstract

Merry Beach Resort is situated in Brgy. Bucana, Apacible Boulevard, Nasugbu, Batangas which caters weddings, seminars, debuts, team building, and many more. Merry Beach Resort’s main problems are the difficult and slow accommodation of customers, slow generation of daily billing report, slow and inaccurate computation of sales, lost or misplaced records, and lack of proper information to the customers. In order to prevent these problems, the proponent proposed for an online billing and reservation system for Merry Beach Resort. The system has a database where all of the company’s transactions are stored and it also has the ability to compute all the billings of the customers. Having an online system is a cutting edge over the businesses. So the proponent made a system that benefits the management and the customers. The system has a website that includes the amenities and facilities of the resort, the rates, the services offered by the resort, the reservation module for customers, the management of the facilities, amenities, rooms, and function rooms as well. With the development of the system, all the transactions in the resort are stored in a database. Generation of reports is more efficient and accurate. By the help of the system, receptionist’s work load is lessened, thus making the work more efficient.
