Abstract

The purpose of this study is to make the payroll system of Las Piñas Doctors Hospital (LPDH) computer-generated and easier and more convenient. To compute the Net Pay, Gross Pay, Bonuses and the Deductions and come up with a printed pay slip for the employees. The system also provides user restrictions in which not all users can access some buttons, and it is the administration staff only that can access and use all the buttons like add, edit, delete and update. The researchers used the Visual Basic.NET programming language. The result of the study made the payroll system of the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital (LPDH) easier, more convenient, safer and more secure because it has a certain username and password and access limit The employees will just put their finger on the fingerprint scanner in a certain time and it will be automatically computed to access the breakdown of their salary, its deduction, bonuses and the gross pay and get the output report also called pay slip. This study also promotes more secure payroll computations because accidental errors and unethical issues are avoided and also the delay distribution of the pay slip is also avoided.
