Abstract

Computers and Internet are now a big part of our society. Students are making use of these services in order to pass their subjects in school. But still, students fail a certain subject because of lack of self-confidence and they do not understand the research that they have done. That is why online computer aided instruction is a big help to students who are not capable of understanding a lesson in a limited time. Parents often worry about their child being either left behind or held back by the performance of the other students in the classroom. Teachers using traditional learning activities have trouble progressing some of the students in a classroom if not all are ready. Computer-based educational activities assist by allowing each student to learn at his or her own pace. These online computer aided instructions are interactive and for the students to easily understand the lesson. They can evaluate themselves through quizzes if they really understood the lessons. An Online Computer-aided Instruction on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Christ the King College of Cavite Foundation is an instructional tool that provides a better learning experience for the students and a better connection between the students and the instructor. It is equipped with a user-friendly interface, navigation links, downloadable lectures, still graphics, 2D games, spoken and visual media, and simulations that make a supplementing tool for the students. Doing activities using the traditional pen and paper are no longer the trend these days. The Online CAI lets the students take quizzes online and immediately process the answers afterwards. This then instantly saves the grades and can be readily viewed by the professor and so is the student for self-evaluation. This is only one of the many features of the Online CAI. In total, the Online CAI on HTML, CSS and JavaScript has proven itself a useful learning tool De La Salle University-Dasmariñas which provides knowledge and enlightenment yet makes greater enjoyment of learning and increase self-confidence.
