Abstract

3D Mapping of the East Part of the De La Salle University – Dasmariñas is a software based system. The system has features such as Manual and Automatic navigation respectively, the Manual navigation is a feature of the system that enables users to interactively navigate through the map and this feature also enables the users to have their control of navigating through the system, the Automatic navigation feature of the system provides an easy access of the map and as well as names of buildings or locations if one is not familiar. The system is developed using Adobe Flash Professional CS5 with Action Script 3.0, Visual Basic 2008 and 3DS Max 2010. Furthermore the system also utilizes the aforementioned software in creation of buildings, locations and the scope of the map. The system aims to increase the knowledge of users with three-dimensional environment and how it can be manipulated with such software like Adobe Flash Professional CS5 and Visual Basic 2008, and the system also aims to widen the scope of the Mapping system of the university.
