Abstract

The Internet proves to be a great asset in today's business transactions as it plays a big role as the bridge of communication. The proponents studied carefully the processes of Doha Energy International Manpower Services Co., a recturitment agency, in order to find out its weak points and develop possible answers to overcome those hindrances. Coming from manual transactions, the online recruitment system aims to harness the power of technology to develop better solutions in handling file management, application, hiring, and deployment -- by making them automated. The website also serves as a medium to advertise job openings with lesser cost compared to the traditional job postings in newspapers. Other features added such as advanced job search and job matching were patterned from leading job posting sites, which proved to be user-friendly. The capabilities were made to make use of time, effort, and resources efficiently and effectively. The implementation of the system requires continuous subscription to a webhost for it to remain viewable and active, with the company, the clients and the applicants would be having great advantages through the use of its features.
