Abstract

NAME OF INSTITUTION: De La Salle University – Dasmariñas ADDRESS: City of Dasmariñas, Cavite TITLE: The Relationship Between Job Satisfaction and Job Performance Levels of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Service Crews. AUTHORS: Erin Joyce C. Sitchon Vincent Allen S. Tolentino FUNDING SOURCE: Parents COST: 10, 000 Php DATE STARTED: June 2013 DATE FINISHED: March 14, 2014 De La Salle University – Dasmariñas SCOPE AND COVERAGE: Participants included in the research are thirty (30) self-disclosed lesbian, gay and bisexual service crews and their respective managers. Participants came from different fastfood chains inside and outside Cavite area. METHODOLOGY: The researchers used purposive sampling technique in selecting the research participants. In order to obtain data, the researchers created two (2) questionnaires: Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and Job Performance Evaluation Form. The instruments were both validated by a faculty from Psychology Department of De La Salle University Dasmariñas. In order to obtain the relationship of the variables, the statistical treatment used for the particular research is pearson r. RESULTS: The level of job satisfaction of LGB service crews lies between average to satisfied. While the job performance level of LGB service crews lies between very satisfactory to outstanding. In the end, the researchers discovered that there is no significant relationship between job satisfaction and job performance level of lesbian, gay and bisexual service crews.
