Abstract

This study utilizing the Systems Approach method was presented to create a Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) that will help students in the tertiary level understanding the principles of Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Its software was made to run in Window-based environment. Findings of the study confirmed that the CAI on Newton's Three Laws of Motion is a reliable tool in ensuring the understanding and learning of the user. The system proved to be effective in its presentation of the subject. On the basis of the findings, the author recommends that (1) there be a database to keep track of users and the top ten students with highest scores, (2) that there be more improved and realistic animations presented in 3-D graphics, and (3) that there be an audio support for the tutorial.
