Abstract
The study focused on the basic information about distributed databases and some basic networking. Books, theses, magazines, etc. were used as the primary source of information in the study. In developing the system, the prototyping method was used. On the basis of the findings, it was concluded that the system was able to retrieve the needed information and was able to play a sample sound of a song. The development of the distributed database system that has sound playback capabilities was successful. The author recommends that thorough testing to the system should be done to see if the system is bug free. Likewise, the program made is open for further improvement.
