Abstract

This study aimed to determine the acceptability of Casino Filipino and its impact to tourism industry as perceived by the residents of Tagaytay City during the second semester of academic year 2006-2007. It tried to find out the cultural, exonomic and social impacts of Casino Filipino to the tourism industry as perceived by the residents of Tagaytay City. The researchers have used the descriptive form of method research to gather the needed information. The respondents of the study were composed of (150) one hundred and fifty residents of Tagaytay City. The researcher used questionnaire as the main tool in gathering needed information. The managers, employees and gamblers are not included as respondents in the study. The statistical treatment of the data was determined through the use of weighted mean and ranking. Guests were selected through random sampling method utilized in the fishbowl technique. The study is conducted during the second semester of school year 2006-2007.
