Abstract

To determine the immediate aggressive play behavior between the male and female pupils after watching a violent cartoon film. After a careful analysis of the findings, the researchers concluded that violent cartoons greatly affect the behavior of children regardless of gender. The study further showed that children who did not watch any cartoon film, violent and non-violent cartoon film had significantly different levels of aggressive behavior.Furthermore, the study revealed that there is no interaction between gender and violent cartoon shows on the aggressive behavior of children such that children who watched no cartoon show, violent and non-violent cartoon shows on the aggressive behavior regardless of their gender.
