Abstract

This descriptive and exploratory study sought to determine the belief component that had the greatest influence in the collective process belief about self. It also determined whether there was a significant difference between male and female subjects per component. The sample population consisted of 99 (50 males and 49 female ) ENGLICOM members, who were selected at random and who then represented the researchers' reference group. A questionnaire was used in this study. There were 2 parts in the questionnaire; one for each behavior being studies. These 2 parts were then subdivided into 3 parts; one for each component of a belief. These in turn, were all related under the behavior they were categorized. All parts were randomly arranged. Pearson was used to determine correlation repeated measures and analysis of variance within a simple design were also used in the study to validate the data.
