ABSTRACT Name of the Institution: De La Salle University – Dasmarinas Address: DBB-B City of Dasmariñas, Cavite Title: Level Of Generativity And Stagnation Of MiddleAge Adulthood Part-Time Employees In De La Salle University Dasmariñas Authors: Luceña, Sarah O., Reville, Jayryl R., Sevilla, Kimberly A., Trupel, Rouanne Rylene G., Funding Source: Parents Cost: 6,000 Php Date Started: June 2012 Date Finished: March 2013 Generativity is a complex psychosocial construct that can be expressed through social demand, inner desires, conscious concerns, beliefs, commitments, behaviors, and the overall way in which an adult makes narrative sense of his or her life. This study aims to provide an up-to-date analysis of the level of generativity among middle aged part time employees of DLSU D and also to determine the factors what makes them generative and stagnant. The researchers have been interested in exploring the life of adult. This narrative has been De La Salle University – Dasmariñas 4 categorized into four factors these are work, family, community and personal concerns where we can get a themes out of it. The individuals selected those who possess expertise or experiences related to the purpose of the study. Twenty nine (29) middle age part time employees specifically ages 55 – 60 from De la Salle University – Dasmariñas. Generativity vs. Stagnation of Erik Erikson’s Psychosocial 7th Stage served as the one being measured in the study using Loyola Generativity Scale the participants whom were the middle-age part-time employees of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas chosen through purposive sampling. The level of generativity and stagnation was measured through the scores they answer on the survey divided in to three, the generativity, average and stagnation. The scores of the participant were computed and interpret in the study. Interview was also conducted to support the answers. The middle-age part-time employee’s level had its highest amount on average.
