Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the level of generativity and stagnation among middle-aged ex-priests. The fact that they cannot marry may result to a state of stagnation but this study will see if they could be generative enough now that they have their own family during this stage of their life. The problem statement determines the level of generativity and stagnation of the ex-priests and their present status, with the help of the questionnaire made by McAdams entitled Loyola Generativity Status and through interview method. The result of this research shows that 1 out of 4 respondents got the highest in generativity and the 3 respondents have been classified as average in being generative. Recommendations were made to help the ex-priests and for the future researchers.
