Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore the mind of a sentenced pedophile. This will help the researchers prove the theory that the molester now was a victim himself when he was still young. According to Freud’s psychosexual theory, which states that at the age of five, personality is already developed and experiences play a large role in developing the personality of the child. In order to challenge this theory the researcher would concentrate on the remembered childhood sexual experience of molesters by interviewing them and by using of projective tests. With the results in hand the researchers will be able to connect whether childhood sexual experiences of sentenced pedophiles really has a connection with the crime that they had committed.
