Abstract

ABSTRACT The researchers have come up with the study entitled “PleasureDeprivation among Female Unbaptized Jehovah’s Witness and Its Implication to Psychosocial Self. The goal of the study is to see and to clarify if female unbaptized Jehovah’s Witness are really being deprived of their different pleasures. The researchers used a descriptive study which aimed to know the different pleasures that have been deprived in females unbaptized Jehovah’s Witness. Using this study, the researchers were able to describe the different events, experiences, and behaviors among the respondents. The respondents of the study were chosen through purposive sampling. To obtain the data for the study, the researchers used qualitative research to gather an in-depth understanding of human behaviors and the reasons that govern human behavior. As a result of the study, the researchers came up with the data that female unbaptized Jehovah’s Witness did not feel any deprivation regarding celebration and food intake. However, some mentioned that they had encountered problems regarding the clothes that they wear and their relation to their friends. The results also showed that pleasure-deprivation among the respondents had implication to psychosocial self.
