Parenting style is classified into 3 types: Authoritarian, Authoritative and Permissive while aggression is categorized into 5 types: Anger, Hostility, Physical, Verbal, and Indirect aggression. Quantitative correlational research is the design used to determine the relationship between the two variables. The sample size was 40 adolescents who had a single mother or a single father. The researchers made used of the standardized Aggression Questionnaire to determine the types of aggression that the respondents have and a researchers-made questionnaire about parenting style that determines the type of parenting style of the single mother or single father as the research instrument. Purposive snowball sampling was used to collect the data while Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation (Pearson’s r) was also used as the statistical tool for computing the data. Keywords: parenting style, authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, aggression, verbal, anger, hostility, physical, indirect and adolescents.
