Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the rehabilitation program of the National Bureau of Investigation-Treatment Rehabilitation Center, on the basis of the personality profile of drug dependents revealed through the different projective tests administered i.e., DAP, SBT, SSCT, and BGT along the intellectual, emotional and social dimensions. In the span of six (6) months, the drug dependents progressed in the intellectual, emotional and social dimensions as reflected in the pre and post program intervention results of the three projective tests administered. The Rehabilitation program of NBI-TRC is moderately effective and the drug dependents have progressed more in the intellectual than in the social and emotional dimensions. It is the social and emotional dimensions. It is recommended that the drug dependents be given additional social and self concept activities; mandatory follow-up of released drug dependents be done as a basis for further evaluation; the future proponents of this study be adopt in test interpretation; and that the government give jobs to the deserving drug dependents.
